If you are like me your week-ends are packed with things to do, and lots of running around. How do you squeeze in a work-out and eat healthy. Especially if you have kids activities to go to.
With a little extra planning it's really easy. Pack a backpack with healthy snacks and lunch for you and your kids. If they have a ball game make it a picnic lunch (kids love that). As for exercise believe it or not you burn a lot of calories and get exercise when you go to the grocery store and walk the mall. Also if your kids have to be to their games early take the opportunity to walk around the field a couple of times before the games start.
